  • 1 ½ C. Dates

  • 1 ½ C. Cherries

  • 1 ½ C. Almonds

  • ½ C. Shredded coconut

  • 1 T. Flax Seeds

  • 1 T. Chia Seeds

  • 1 T. Hemp Seeds

  • ½ C. Maca Powder

Chocolate Sauce

  • ½ C. Cacao Butter

  • 1 C. Cacao Powder

  • ½ C. Maple Syrup

  • ½ tsp. Sea Salt

  • Tahini Drizzle (Optional)

  • Hemp Seeds

  1. Remove the pits from your dates and add to warm / hot water until fully submerged, soak for about 10 minutes.

  2. While your dates are soaking in a high speed blender add your dates and pulse until you have a chunky almond meal.

  3. Add the remaining dry ingredients to the mix and pulse to lightly break apart the coconut.

  4. Remove dates from water and add to dry mix along with cherries and blend till all ingredients are combined and you have a thick paste like consistency. If mix is too chunky slowly add in some of water from the soaked dates (should only need 1-2 T) and blend.

  5. Transfer mix into an 8”x8” lined pan spread evenly with a spatula, set aside

  6. In a double boiler melt cacao butter, stirring occasionally.

  7. Once most of your cacao butter is melted remove from heat and add cacao powder, salt and maple syrup continuing to mix until you reach a smooth, even consistency.

  8. Spread chocolate sauce over the bars evenly. Garnish with hemp seeds and drizzle with tahini for a subtle nutty flavor.

  9. Refrigerate for an hour before slicing and enjoy!
